Master degree in Psychology from Christian Albrechts University Kiel and FU Berlin. Post-graduate apprenticeship as certified cognitive behavioral psychotherapist at "Institut für Verhaltenstherapie" (IVT) Berlin.

Currently I am working as a psychotherapist at the Psychiatric University Clinic Charité at "St. Hedwig Hospital" Berlin on one of three acute psychiatric wards. Furthermore I am head of the outpatient health care center of the ward "Heiliger Franz von Assisi". In my work as a therapist I include techniques from different forms of behavioral therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and Systemic Therapy. Treating clients with with all kinds of psychological issues, I have the most experience in working with people who suffer from psychosis, depression, anxieties and people with personality disorders. Within the scope of my inpatient duties I have the honor of collaborating with Dr. Lieselotte Mahler in a large team using the "Weddinger Modell", a psychiatric treatment approach, which focusses on multiprofessional teams and recovery oriented methods. Furthermore I am the senior researcher at "Social Psychiarty and Care" research group.
